Marketing Competition

In 2020, myself and a friend entered a New Zealand wide competition to win free power for our flat. This competition had a lot of applicants, however we were chosen to be finalists and then won the whole thing. In order to win there was a lot of self promotion (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).

Being the Google Ads and PPC Specialist in my company, I created the opportunity for us to host Google Ad workshops for other businesses in order to give them autonomy over their own marketing. I designed and wrote the Google Ads booklet, and facilitated multiple workshops across the year.

I completed a full marketing strategy for Kitwell, a new company that launched a e-commerce site in New Zealand. The strategy includes benchmarks, objectives, competitor analysis and a wide range of marketing tactics.

Guest Lecturer

It was an awesome opportunity to be able to be a guest lecturer for MART308, a class I took myself at the University of Otago a few years back.

I talked about my own journey as a Marketing & Design Strategist, the different projects that I’ve worked on, and some handy tips & tricks that will allow them to enter the industry prepared. I have since returned a few more times to talk to other marketing students prior to leaving NZ.

KINROSS DESTINATION RESORT AND LUXURY WINES

SEO Audit + Optimisation

I was tasked to do a full Search Engine Optimisation audit for Kinross, a brand based in Central Otago, NZ. This audit was to help guide the business in the correct direction in regards to their websites Meta Descriptions, Meta Titles, Website Page Structure and Crawl-ability. After providing the comprehensive strategy we were commissioned to implement the strategy, which took a following week.

DUNEDIN GYMNASTICS ACADEMY

Office Manager + Marketing Officer

I have been the Office Manager for a large gymnastics club for over 3 years. Alongside being the Office Manager, where I help hire new coaches and assist with costings and enrolments, I assist with their social media, website and marketing.

Since starting I have helped grow, and maintain their registrations every single term. DGA was affected in the start of 2022 with having to introduce Covid Vaccine passes in order to have up to 100 people at the gym at one time. We had a roll of 793, however with this vaccine introduction we dropped down to 682. Since then we have continued to grow, and regain the trust of our customers and introduce new classes where we see gaps in the market, such as our Mums and Bubs class.

Various Social Media Management

In 2021, and 2022 I was in charge of Malcom James Furnishings social media. This involved attending photoshoots for new social media content, post photo editing, graphic design, social scheduling, copywriting and reporting.

Throughout 2022 I helped to create GetHomeSafe's new social media presence, and strategy in order to grow their audience.

I have been creating posts for Youth Employment Success since the end of 2021, and they were lucky enough to win a Good Design Award in 2022. I created the social tiles to highlight their amazing achievement for socials.

Throughout 2021, 2022 and 2023 I was the main designer, and marketer for Strawberry Sound.
